Meet the Precision Martial Arts Founders
Leighia Wells is a dedicated chiropractor with over three years of martial arts training. She began her journey with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before expanding into other disciplines. Her deep knowledge of body mechanics, honed through her chiropractic work, gave her an edge in understanding martial arts techniques quickly. Leighia's passion for learning and teaching led her to assist in numerous martial arts and self-defense classes, where she shares her insights and skills with others.
Leighia also trains regularly at Kzoo BJJ in Portage and Triumph in Grand Rapids, maintaining a solid connection to the martial arts community. Inspired by the positive impact martial arts had on her life, she began offering classes to some female patients who were hesitant to try the practice at local gyms. With her patients' trust in her, Leighia created a safe and welcoming space for them to explore this new form of physical and mental empowerment.
What started as a single class for her patients has now blossomed into a larger movement, a testament to Leighia's commitment to helping others experience the transformative power of martial arts. Her initiative has grown, reflecting the trust and impact she has on her patients and community.
